Well, I would make a damn good city girl!! I really would!! I would love to live in a really busy city like London or New York - I've never actually been to NY but who cares!
I have been to London though, quite a few times, some with my family and some with my friends. I love the hustle and bustle of it all! I love the culture and all the different things there are to see! I Love the shops! I love the parks - especially Hyde park! It's so cool, I have some interesting memories of that place. I love the history an the fact ita our capital! I love the London eye and the big red buses and the tube! I love that everyone is so ambitious and always has somewhere to be! I just love London and one day I am going to live there. Fact.

A Woman's Purse...

I found this really good blog idea online to list all the items in your purse so just for a bit of fun I thought I would do it for today's post.
In my purse I have:
A Matalan card
A tesco clubcard
A library card
A hard rock cafe card
A Nando's loyalty card
A bite discount card (gives you 20% off food at railway stations!)
My national insurance card
My European health insurance card
My drivers license
My bank card
Loads of reciepts
A packet of chewing gum
£22.04

But I think, more impressively is what's on the outside of my purse, I have 8 badges I have collected:
A Micky the mouse badge I bought from the London Disney shop
An Alton towers badge
A Young Womens torch badge
A cadbury badge thy I got from cadbury world in Birmingham
A tgi fridays staff reward badge - that took some hard work on the waiter to get it!
A daisy badge which is for a charity
And a Drayton manor badge I bought when I went there for my friend sarah's 19th birthday
And a hard rock cafe badge that I also ha to work very hard on the greater to get

So there you go, my purse/a snapshot of my life!

When I grow up...

When I grow up I want to be...
Age 6: A horse rider!
But don't all girls? It's all that my little pony! But seriously, I wanted to be a horse rider, as a job. We have a field next to our house too so there was always that hope that one day my dad would buy me a horse, I never understood why he didn't! I did have horse riding lessons for a while, as far as I can remember I loved it. I don't remember why I stopped though...
Age 13: A photographer! I've always loved taking pictures (some of which I will be sharing on this blog). You start off with the throw away ones, they're always fun! Then I remembered I had this special polaroid one that dispensed these cool tiny photos about the size of a passport photo. Then I had a digital camera, a Sony Cybershot. I could take endless pictures on that - much to everyone's annoyance! But it didn't have a zoom and that really bugged me. After that it was digital camera after digital camera, I'm sure they decide to stop working after a year! And then... ahhhh my sweet sweet DSLR Camera. I love it. With its beautiful lense and brilliant quality - it's so pretty!

Age 16: A journalist. I even went to college to study it... and then figured out it wasn't what I wanted to do.
Age 17: A teacher. It's my life calling, I'm telling you! If there is one thing I can do without thinking it's teach. And I love playing with kids and watching them learn. Oh I want to be a teacher so bad! And that's the plan. I'm at college doing childcare & education then it's on to university and one day I will be a primary school teacher.

Well, it's official: I'm a blogger!

So I guess this is it, my first post. Best make it interesting, eh?! I'll just jump straight on in...
In case you can't guess it from my blog title, I'm a Mormon and yesterday I had the privilege of watching General Conference. It was amazing!! I scribbled away as the various speakers gave their talks and wrote a tonne of notes! One thing I felt I should do was to start a blog (I even wrote it on my official "What I need to do now" to do list!)... and that's what prompted me to start.
I guess I've been meaning to do it for ages, I really enjoy reading a couple of other blogs so I thought "why not?". I plan to blog about my life in general and share photos that I take, as well as share my thoughts on a variety of different things, including my religion. So feel free to follow me and comment... hopefully I will get better at this blogging thing!
